Our 10-Year Saving Guarantee
Our business reputation is built on providing a quality product at a price that demonstrates value for money to our customers. To further prove we are 100% committed to this cause, we have introduced a 10-year savings guarantee for our solar systems.
What does this guarantee apply to?
- Solar systems installed by Perth Solar Force from August 2024 onwards
- Systems connected to Wi-Fi with full monitoring access
- Systems fitted with an inverter that carries a minimum 10-year manufacturer’s warranty
How does it work and how can I make a claim?
We guarantee that your solar system will generate enough energy to deliver at least $1,000 in annual savings. If, within any 12-month period from your installation date, your system does not achieve this level of savings (based on energy generated), we will pay the shortfall – up to $1,000.
Savings are calculated based on the total energy your solar system generates. We take the total kWh produced by your system (from inverter data) and multiply it by the standard Synergy Home Plan (A1) tariff.

Example:
- Current rate (March 2026): 32.3719 cents per kWh
- Total energy generated: 1,200 kWh
- Value of energy generated: 1200 x 32.3719 = $388.46
- Guaranteed savings: $1,000
- Perth Solar Force will pay the difference: $611.54
Be aware, if you consume the solar system energy generated within your home, you will save 32.3719 cents per unit, whereas if you export it, you may only receive 2 cents or even 0 cents per unit. So, by using each unit, you save over 10x more than you would by exporting it. For fairness and consistency, this guarantee is based on energy generated, as individual usage habits are outside our control.
Important notes on energy usage
To save $1,000 a year, your solar system would need to produce 3,089 units a year, which is 8.46 units a day on average. If your solar system produces 3,090 units a year and you use it, saving you 32.3719 cents per unit, multiplied by 3,090 units, that equals $1,000.29 savings per year. That’s it!
If you think you may be eligible to make a claim under this guarantee, simply provide:
- Your electricity bills covering the 12-month period
- Your system’s generation data (from your inverter monitoring)

What are the exclusions of this guarantee?
The guarantee does not apply to:
- Systems with an inverter smaller than 5kW paired with 6.6kW of panels.
- Systems with estimated annual production below 5,000 kWh (based on Nearmap / Open Solar modelling).
- Export-limited systems.
- Systems that have been modified, altered or repaired without written approval from Perth Solar Force.
- Systems are not maintained in line with recommended guidelines.
- Systems with faults or performance issues not reported within 5 business days.
- Systems not connected to Wi-Fi or without an accessible performance history.
- Systems affected by shading.
- Systems are damaged through misuse, neglect or external factors beyond our control.
Additional conditions
- The maximum claim is limited to the out-of-pocket cost of your system
- This guarantee is based on the Synergy Home Plan (A1) tariff of 32.3719 cents per kWh
- If this tariff falls below this rate, the guarantee may no longer apply
- Anything beyond Perth Solar Force’s control that has had an adverse effect on the performance of the system.
