Save Money for Your Business
The first and most obvious reason is to heavily reduce your utility costs. Any company from small and medium enterprises through to large corporations will have utility or operational costs that are a part of the functioning costs of their day-to-day business. Installing solar panels will allow you to decrease your utility costs drastically.
Some other great reasons to install commercial solar include:
- Own your own power to reduce ongoing electricity price increase.
- Cash flow positive from day one – it literally pays for itself!
- Huge financial incentives to offset the upfront cost – up to $80,000.
- Depreciation benefits from a tax perspective.
- Reduce your operating costs, increase your profit.
- Pay off your purchase using the savings your system produces.
- Protect yourself against rising utility rates
- Businesses use most, if not all, of their power during the day, when solar is at peak performance.
- Rent to own options with $0 upfront.
- Make use of your large external roof area; not to mention solar panels will also help shade your roof and associated cooling effects.
- Installing commercial solar panels will contribute to reducing your annual greenhouse gas emissions.
- The price for solar has never been more affordable.
- Adding a solar energy system will also boost property value.
CAPABILITIES
PERTH SOLAR FORCE
At Perth Solar Force, we install over 3,000 solar energy systems per year, both residentially and commercially. Currently, our teams install more than 400kW per week. The PSF team is comprised of over 80 staff, including 20 electricians and 15 trade assistants across 15 different installation teams who complete approximately 70 installs per week with a dedicated commercial install team. Geographically, we cover areas ranging from Geraldton to Albany.
Our commercial team has a proven track record of maintaining required timeframes for large-scale commercial projects. We perform detailed pre-install site inspections to plan out the whole project prior to starting to ensure we can identify any potential issues before they arise, this also allows us to maintain open communication with
our clients as we progress through the timeline. All of our installers are employees. We have no contractors. This allows us to maintain our high-quality installation standards.

FORRESTFIELD AIRPORT LINK TRAIN STATION
Planning for the Forrestfield-Airport Link (FAL) began in 2008 with discussions around how the suburban rail network could best connect to Perth’s growing eastern suburbs. The FAL project delivers an 8.5km extension to the existing PTA urban rail network in Perth, WA, connecting the Midland Line to Forrestfield and running underground in twin bored tunnels underneath the Swan River, Tonkin Highway, and Perth Airport. Following State Government approval in August 2014, the project was launched. In April 2016, a $1.176 billion contract was awarded for design, construction, and a ten-year post-completion maintenance period. Redcliffe Station and Forrestfield Station will have rail-bus interchanges and up to 3,000 new car parking bays.
SCOPE OF WORK
The design, supply, installation, testing, and commission of a solar power system for Forrestfield station.
PERTH SOLAR FORCE AWARDED CONTRACT
Understanding the importance of finding an environmentally friendly option for their energy needs, the FAL project awarded the tender to provide a solar solution to Perth Solar Force. We were selected over a number of other providers for our commitment to quality, safety, and after installation support, as well as our expertise and financial stability to deliver a project of this scale. The 275kW solar PV system was designed using premium German made SMA inverters, as well as Longi 440w solar panels (the largest mono silicon solar panel manufacturer globally). The system is expected to produce 512,678kWh of energy every year, providing a clean and renewable source of daytime power for the station. The system is expected to eliminate approximately 360 tonnes of harmful CO2 annually – the equivalent reduction of planting 1,3769 trees.
It is anticipated that this project will be installed by our commercial installers, requiring two teams for a period of four weeks. This project represents around 15% of our monthly labour capacity. As such, there will be no difficulty with timeliness of installation or devoting additional resources to this project. Our install teams are CEC accredited and highly experienced in commercial projects.
